Ant McPartlin will appear on this weekend's Saturday Night Takeaway in pre-recorded scenes.
The Sun reports that producers have decided to continue airing the ongoing Saturday Knight Takeaway series of sketches in Saturday's (March 31) show, featuring Joanna Lumley, Michael Sheen, David Walliams and Emilia Fox.
This weekend's show marks the first time that Declan Donnelly has presented Saturday Night Takeaway on his own, following Ant's decision to return to rehab after being charged with drink driving.
Dec will likely be joined by regular supporting members of the presenting team, Stephen Mulhern and Scarlett Moffatt, and it will also see Stephen Merchant take on the duties of the Star Guest Announcer, with Paloma Faith on stage for the End of the Show Show.
Last week, Dec and ITV announced that Saturday Night Takeaway would be back for the last two episodes of the series – March 31 and April 7 – with the finale being held at Universal Orlando Resort in Florida as originally planned.
'Whilst I never thought I'd be in this position, after much discussion and careful consideration we've decided that the remaining two shows of this series of Saturday Night Takeaway will go ahead,' Dec said in a statement.
'We made a promise to take hundreds of deserving winners to Florida to watch the series finale, and we will honour that. Everyone at ITV and the Takeaway team feels we owe it to the audience to complete the series.'
Saturday Night Takeaway continues on Saturday (March 31) at 7pm on ITV.
